My Condolences go out to the family of Dave Rufer. I didn't know Dave but we graduated the same year at Linton High School. I recall going to his place of business the" Copper Keg" many times, I will say this of Dave He was the kindest business owner one would ever have the pleasure of meeting. big heart and great great service. Thank you for the many years of wonderful memory's Dave, you will be missed by so many:) Now you are safe in the hands of God , this ones on me, Thanks .Derrick!!!

Dear Rufer Family, I was so sorry to hear today of David's passing. I will never forget the time when I was about 5 years old and I was playing in the snow and got stuck in a snow bank. David was out shoveling snow in front of your house, and my mom opened the door and yelled across the street asking him to come rescue me. She was very pregnant with Liam and didn't want to have to go outside herself. So David, being about 10, came across the street, plucked me out of the snow bank, and plunked me in my socks on to the sidewalk!! My boots had stayed stuck in the snow bank! I told this story to Dave last time I saw him, and we both had a good laugh over it! I am sorry for your loss. Remember the good times, it really helps. ~Peg Quinn Scott
