Dear Miriam and Sherman and families: Kate and I were so sorry to hear of Ros' passing two weeks ago. I did not get the message until this week, as I was in Germany and Linda did not call Kate. Aunt Ros was a favorite aunt, and we loved her very much. We are sorry that we could not attend the remembrance ceremony or visit you last week. Miriam is aware that I had wanted to visit Ros earlier this spring, and I am very sad that that never worked out. I have missed her strong presence in our lives and the joy of seeing her and Bob together, remembering their childhood and their parents and lives together.
