Larry and Martha, I was so saddened to hear of Jerusha's passing. I know the pain you are both experiencing and thank you for contacting me. Although our contact with Jerusha was limited, I will always remember the way she endeared herself to our daughters when she visited Westfield a few years ago with Martha. Likewise, when Larry and Jerusha attended mom's (Betty Brandhorst) funeral we were all in such grief, but impressed that she had made the long trip to pay her respects to her sister. From reading the obituary and comments from her friends, the world has lost a very special woman. My heart goes out to all of her family.

My friend is dancing & singing in Heaven, but I am going to miss her. She was profoundly devout and a wonderful role model. I will never forget singing in Wellspring and how excited she would be over worship. We shared many laughs and a few tears. I will miss her and my prayers are with her family now.

Larry, I'm so sorry for your loss of Jerusha. My heart goes out to you, your family, and Jerusha's family and friends. I have always enjoyed talking with you and Jerusha at family gatherings and times we would run into each other. She will be greatly missed in the community, in the family and in our hearts. A Christian woman she was, and we will rejoice one day when we will be joined with her and our Heavenly Father once again (praise God). Love, Cousin Michael -

I met her about 3 years ago when I joined the Alpha Pregnancy Care. She was the one who helped me join. After that whenever I had a problem or just needed to talk, she was always willing to listen

My prayers are with all of you at this time. I remember Jerusha from time spent volunteering at Alpha Pregnancy Care Center. She was a very special woman. She had such a gentle spirit, and her love of God was easy to recognize. May you all be comforted in the knowledge that she is safe in the arms of Jesus. May your memories of her allow you to keep her always close, and help to ease your sorrow.

Dear Larry, John, Erich, Maggie, and Jerusha's sister - I am so sad and sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what any of you are going thru except for John, Erich and Maggie. Losing ones Mom is so so hard. Only with the help of the Lord can you do this. You are all in my prayers. Jerusha was my dear friend. I have so many memories of doing skits with her and going to Women's Aglow retreats. I remember one time she was supposed to get her suitcase from Larry for the retreat and he forgot it - so she said we were going to go shopping and buy all new clothes. Well I just happened to have two of everything in my suitcase and we were the same size. She didn't buy a thing. One of her favorite sayings was - "TADA" and I bet she said that when she arrived in Heaven!!

To Jerushia's Family, Please accept my deep condolences for your loss. I have wonderful memories of the time I stayed at Jerushia and Larry's with Martha several years ago. Lots of sitting at the kitchen table or out back, laughing, eating, drinking wine, and talking. I will remember Jerushia as a woman who lived life fully and joyfully. She was gracious, welcoming all, and radiated a serenity that comes from deep faith. Her spirit lives on.
