Emita, I can't believe that it is going to be 3 years since your passing. I still feel like it was yesterday when we last spoke, and then received that dreadful call. Angelica and I miss you so very much. We speak of you often and all the wonderful times we shared. I know you and Mom are together having a great time. No pain no worries. Until we meet again I will always carry your love in my heart. I love you and miss you.

A year ago today was the last time that I spoke to you. You said that you possibly would be going home soon. Angelica called you the next day and you couldn't talk. You said that you were having trouble breathing but that when you felt better (hopefully later that day) you would call her back. Your last words to her were ( I love You so much and miss you!) Little did we know that those were going to be your last words to her. That this was the last time we would speak. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't think about you. That we don't talk about you. If we see something that we know you would have loved, we say, "Emita would have loved that or bought that". There are no words to express how much we, ( Angelica, Me and Gilda ), miss you. You left a horrible void in our lives, in our hearts. I talk to you often, hoping that you can hear me. I was always able to go to you for advice, for a shoulder to lean on. You meant the WORLD TO ME. I know that you are watching over us and taking care of us. Until we meet again, I will carry your love in my heart forever. If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I’d walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

I will never forget the fun times we had on vacation in Hawaii and Florida and the visits in Texas. I will miss you.

I will always remember how full of life Emy was. She never went anywhere without all her jewelery. She loved the bling! We spend lots of time shopping and if it didn't sparkle she wasn't interested. My boy's called her "Aunti Em". They had lots of fun swimming with Aunti Em. Thanks for all the fun times. We will miss you!

There are 43 years of memories to write about, but one can't. Emita was a person that lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed every part of it. She loved being with her family and friends. She never had anything bad to say about no one. And when she loved you, she loved you with all her heart and soul. We were not just friends, Emita was our family. She was my Mother's sister and my other Mother. We Shared Happy and Sad times together, and were together for the holidays. She will be missed terribly. A part of us died when she passed away. But we know that we will one day see each other again.
