Obituary of Richard T. Cuscino

Richard T. Cuscino, 76, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday. Richard was born in New Castle, PA a son of the late Orest and Clara Cuscino. He was a graduate of Youngstown State College where he received his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and received his Master's in the same field from the University of Akron. Following college, Richard was employed by Babcock & Wilcox. After 35 years of faithful hardwork, Richard retired from the General Electric Company. Richard was a member of the GE Quarter Century Club and the Elfun Society. He was a communicant of his beloved church, Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha. Survivors include his beloved wife of 53 years, Rose Marie Nycz Cuscino; loving sons, Richard J. (Michelle) Cuscino of Clifton Park and Robert T. (Christine) Cuscino of Macungie, PA; devoted granddaughters, Sarah Rose, Paige, Courtney and Brooke; sister, Dolores S. (Edward) Waskin of New Castle, PA; brother, Eugene (Patricia) Cuscino of Arizona; he is also survived by several neices, nephews and wonderful friends. Richard's family would like to thank Dr. Steven Goldberg, Dr. Thomas Goodman, Dr. Laurence Weiner and Dr. Arun Puranik for the loving, wonderful care shown to Richard. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha (formerly St. Helen's), Union Street. Entombment to follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Jones Funeral Home, Union at McClellan St., Tuesday evening from 6 to 9 PM.
