My deepest Sympathies to Van's family and friends. He will truly be missed. He was a wonderful friend of my family and father Wolfgang Riemer and the lower Mohawk Club members. I enjoyed every minute we spent at the club and driving him and Joseph Lovell down every month for dinner and conversation! He was always a kind, generous and loving man. Elliott and family; Am so sorry for the loss of your loved one please accept my prayers and condolences. I lived next door to Van in the early 60's he helped me subsequent to my Father's passing and on other occasions, he was a wonderfull, caring, and great man. May he RIP. Gary Geiger Scotia, NY
