Carl, Tom, Ricky and Fran, So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was a real favorite of mine. So different from my own mom. It was hard to believe they were sisters. What an amazing woman! We treasure our visits with Gert and I have fond memories of the entire family visiting us in Vermont when my family lived there and we were all much, much younger. Gert had a long, loving, caring and productive life and she will be missed. Whenever we got to the Schenectady area, which wasn't often, we tried to include a visit with her.
