I lived with the McTerney family from 9th grade on. Betty had already gone off to college, but Judy and Joan were like dear sisters to me. At the dinner table, my wonderful aunt Adele would always urge "make good converzzzzation!" (sic) and Judy was always the first to respond, with amusing stories, reflecting her super-bright and already-well-read personality. Even more importantly, she was always, always unfailingly kind.
