Obituary of Keith Gerald Terry

Niskayuna-On Sunday, January 31, 2021, Keith G Terry, loving son, brother, and friend died at the age of 61, after a long illness. Keith was born in Niskayuna, NY to Dr Gerald S and Dorothy J (Petro) Terry. He grew up in Woodlawn and moved to Niskayuna, where he graduated high school. He attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida for two years. He worked at Albany Airport for United Airlines for many years and most recently Jet Blue. He loved his job and he loved the people. Keith had a passion for world travel, and took every opportunity to discover and explore foreign and far away lands, from Dubai to Australia and everywhere in between. He came home with beautiful stories and tales and friends from around the world. Being around Keith was a joy in itself (most of the time). He had a quick wit and a wild sense of humor! He had a way with his expressions and mannerisms that could set you into fits of laughter. Keith is predeceased in death by his mother, Dorothy Terry. He is survived by his beloved father, Dr Gerald S Terry, loving sister, Elise Bigos (Peter Mora), sister Deidre Barber (Dennis McKenna), and dearest friends, Marty Van, Sharon Brown, and Diane Cowles. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. There will be no viewing or services due to the pandemic. A memorial service to honor Keith’s life will be in the future.
