Obituary of Edmund Frederick Henk

Edmund Frederick Henk, 91, of Williamsburg, VA died on March 16, 2018. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Josephine Pangie Henk; four children Andrea, Joanne, Edmund, Steven, and their spouses; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Patricia McFerran, Katherine Smit, and their families.
Edmund was born on February 6, 1927 in Frankfurt, NY to Kathrine Kelly Henk and Edmund Frederick Henk. He served in the United States Marine Corps and graduated from Union College, NY. He completed graduate degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), NY and also from IMEDE in Lausanne, Switzerland, now known as the International Institute for Management (IMD). Edmund’s career in the international division of the Mobil Oil Corporation spanned 33 years with executive positions in Ghana, Sudan, Switzerland, Turkey, France, England, Australia and the New York City headquarters.
Ed retired to Kingsmill where he found many years of happiness on the golf course with his wife and friends. He was a long-time member of the Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 7th, 11:00 am, at the Wareham’s Pond Clubhouse in Kingsmill, 175 Wareham’s Pond Road.
