Please share a memory of Glenn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

New York City, New York

Glenn Lawrence Heap passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at his residence. He was 32.

Born in Niskayuna on July 9, 1985, beloved son of Bruce A. and Kathleen Flanagan Heap.

A 2003 graduate of Niskayuna High School, Glenn went on to earn a BA in Political Science from the University of Buffalo. He began his career in the entertainment industry as assistant manager of the West Hampton Beach Playhouse. He then worked as an electrician/lighting technician on the set of "The Good Wife" for 7 years and worked on the set of "The Good Fight" and various other TV and movie productions. He was proud to have taught lighting classes at Johns Hopkins University. He loved snowboarding, surfing, music, superheroes and his dog Diesel “Deezy".

Glenn never knew a stranger, only a new friend.  He lit up the room wherever he went. He was very much loved and will be sorely missed.

Survivors in addition to his parents Bruce and Kathy of Niskayuna include his brother, Scott Heap of Scotia, his aunts and uncles Claire (Hank) Lenz and family of Valley Stream, Ted (Carol) Heap, Jr., and family of West Palm Beach, FL, Noreen (Gregg) Fremed and family of Huntington and John (Kellie Starcher) Flanagan of West Babylon, and many cousins and extended family, and friends too numerous to mention.

He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Ted and Marion Heap and maternal grandparents John and Shirley Flanagan.
