Obituary of Robert Palmer

Robert Palmer, 59, of Greenpoint Avenue, passed away on September 2nd, at home after a short illness. Bob was adopted as a baby by his parents who always looked upon him as their greatest gift. He loved to travel and see the world spending much of his career as a hard working trucker for Sysco. Bob graduated from Mohonasen High School , and always loved to lend a hand to others. In his youth, Bob was an admirable opponent at the pool table, and loved to bowl. During the NFL season, you could find Bob rooting for his favorite team the Giants; and in the summer, teeing off at the golf course. Bob is survived by his son, Chris Palmer; grandchildren, Ryan Palmer, Aleiyah Colon and Mariah Grant; parents, Doris and Bill Palmer and step-children Jessica and Brandon Grant. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, September 20th at 10:00 AM at Fisher United Methodist Church , 1915 Helderberg Ave, followed by coffee for anyone wishing to join us in his memory.
