I had the pleasue of knowing Del a number of years ago when he was connected with Roland J. Downs, and I was the manager of the Scotia branch of Mohawk National Bank. Our paths crossed a number of times over the years to enable a quick greeting and pleasantries. I found Del to be a kind well spoken gentlemen who always carried himself with a touch of class. He reminded me a great deal of my own father who passed away this time last year at age 86.
