Dear Janet and Libby, I have thought about your wonderful mother so many times. My husband transferred to the GE plant here while I stayed in Connecticut. Later however, I moved up here after a devastating electrical fire. I met your mother at your estate for Bible meetings on Tuesdays with the ladies from First Presbyterian. I would drive down to meet with the builder (to see ashes) and then drive back to the captial region to the largest, most beautiful home. I was really very sad but your mother was gracious and gregarious and always made me feel at home. I loved the house because as a realtor in CT and in NY, homes are my passion. I drove by the home this weekend and thought about your loss. Please know that your mom was very special to many in this area. I will miss her. God bless you and your family. Janet,Libby,Wanita and family.I cannot begin to tell you just how saddened and shocked I was to hear of Barbara's death. I spent some time with her during my time in Schenectady which was one of the highlights of my trip, reminiscing about Hague, Mont Tremblant, curling among other things.
