With our Shen '73 40th reunion coming up this year, it reminded me of one of the greatest guys I've ever known...Frank Mastrianni, and how much he will be missed at the reunion. From our days in Clifton Knolls to just bumping into Frank 20 or 30 years later...there was a constant I could count on. Franks smile was infectious, and his quick wit and genuine caring were always there without asking for them. He had a way of letting you know he really did care, and really was listening ! A true gentleman of the finest kind. I retired and moved to Florida about a week before Frank passed on, and was sorry I missed the services. Frank will no doubt be alive at the reunion as we share stories of some of our finest classmates who have left us. I love you Frank...we all did and still do ! Peace and best wishes go out to his family, who keep Frank alive and with us.

To the Mastrianni family, I am so sorry to hear of Frank's passing.I came from the Rochester area to visit my folks for Thanksgiving and my Dad showed me the obituary.I graduated from Shenendehowa in '72, the year before Frankie (as we called him) and we all had several fun summers together. There was an entire gang from Clifton Knolls...including the Kosta boys, Mark Howley, Laurie Munro, and myself.I even went to visit Frank at St. Lawrence when my boyfriend at the University of Rochester played football against them.Frank was always happy and had the best laugh. He was a great friend and I want to extend my sincere condolences to the entire family on his tragic loss. Robin Lovelock

Dear Linda and Elizabeth: As a fellow BMSO family member, Frank's loss is felt so deeply. I met Frank when I was the class assistant for one of his first oncology training classes when he transferred over to our division. I was touched by his warm and caring personality and was thrilled that he was able to become a DBM. My thoughts and prayers will be both of you during the holidays and the painful months ahead. Dear Linda and Elisabeth, Sincere condolences from my wife Isabelle and I. I am deeply saddened by Frank's death. While I had only know Frank for the last three years, I feel he had been a close friend and a colleague for much longer. Frank truly was one of the most inspiring, dedicated professional on the entire BMS Oncology organization. A mentor to many, and an example to all. Over the last many years, his work has helped thousands of patients. Beyond his professional contributions, Frank was an incredible colleague and friend. He will be thoroughly missed. Our prayers are with you. Giovanni and Isabelle Caforio

Dear Linda and Elizabeth, we were so sadden by the news of Frank's passing. Words just seem so inadequate. As you know better than all of us, Frank had the incredible ability to touch so many; he would have you laughing one moment, supporting you another while constantly letting you know how much he cared. We enjoyed so many wonderful times on different trips and will cherish those memories forever. But the happiest times were listening to Frank give updates on both of you. You both were the joy of his life. Our prayers are with you. Love, Kevin and Barb Sullivan
