Patricia G. Mc Govern 76, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013, with her loving children and grandchildren by her side. Pat was born March 19, 1936 in Schenectady, daughter of the late Winfred and Eileen Greer Grinter and she graduated from Nott Terrace High School. Pat was married to William G. Mc Govern on May 7, 1960, he predeceased her September 29, 1968. Pat loved her family, especially her grandchildren Kristin and Shawn Patrick. Pat is survived by her loving sons, William G. Mc Govern Jr.and his fiancee Jeanne Tracey, James Patrick Mc Govern and his wife Kathryn and her beloved daughter Carleen Greer Mc Govern. She is the sister of Alma Willey and her late husband Merritt, Betty Snyder and her late husband Steve, Roberta Sargent and her husband Kenneth, Brenda Sabo and her late husband Michael and Ronald Grinter and his wife Connie. She is the grandmother of Kristin Piereschi and her husband Matt and Shawn Patrick Mc Govern and the step-grandmother of Katie and Patrick Ryan and Michael and Mairedith Tracey. She is also survived by her former daughter in-law Jennifer Mc Govern, her sisters in-law Jane Mc Govern and Joan Kwiatkowski and predeceased by her brother and sister in-law Jack and Patricia Mc Govern. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Pat's Life will be held on Tuesday July 2, 2013 at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St., (at McClellan St.), Schenectady from 12 noon to 1 PM with a brief service at 1PM.
