Sept. 21,2018
Mom,
This day, another difficult day for me without you.
Each day filled with an emptiness and tears,
Each day missing you,
and it doesn't seem to "get easier with each passing day"
as they say, while I am still here.
Each day just wanting to relax and talk as we always did before you were taken home by God,
the talks of gardening, cooking and baking,
sewing, and house cleaning,
rearing and caring for babies to become responsible, respective God honoring adults,
politics, weather, travel, outings and the family tree and history too,
the good times of the past and the difficult ones too.
Your growing up years of your homes, schooling, family, friends and jobs.
your memories of what was fun, and those you would chuckle over too.
The things in life that you taught me to be right or wrong
through your own life experiences while here, my ups and downs through this life too.
All of this and more...
I do know there was much more to be shared, learned and talked of with you.
but those days were cut short, way to soon.
I thank you for all, as these are the things that get me through now, while I am still here.
Most of all, I thank you for your firm teaching of God and his word and path to be followed.
Teaching and showing me how much easier life can be with God over it and in it,
Teaching and showing me that God forgives, has patience and that sense of humor too,
Teaching and showing me that he is truly a loving God,
Teaching and showing me, that God takes loving care of each that allows and follows him,
The only God, God that gave his son for all of our sins.
All of this and more, taught, showed and giving of yourself,
All with your hope and prayers that your family would apply this in what is just a flash of life while here.
This day, September 21st, to me never will be forgotten,
First, I thank God for giving you your life,
and allowing you to then share your life with me.
Your life, that you fulfilled for his purpose with all the glory to him,
This, with all your very best, that you served while here.
Second, I thank you for sharing your life with me.
I could not ask for a better Mom, to me you are and always will be the best.
I will always love you for you honestly giving your best, through the good days and the bad days too.
As my time here now grows closer with each passing day,
I look forward to when we can be reunited and to enjoy eternally what God promises.
Most of all just to be home again with you and to see again, my beautiful Mom.
September 21st, a happy, joyous "Birthday" of my truly loved, yet deeply missed Mom!
Love you forever and always from the bottom of my heart.

Mom, God's Special Creation
The Hands That Rocked The Cradle
Also Made Our House A Home.
It was the prayers of mother
that kept the family strong.
Mother rose early in the morning
and bathed her day in prayer.
She talked to God about her family
and placed them in His care.
Mother communicated her love
in a thousand different ways.
When there was a need she was there,
whether it was night or day.
Mother seasoned life with love
and gave so much of herself.
God placed in her the best he had
and made her unlike anyone else.
When challenges came our way
and when trials blocked our view,
Mother knelt down beside her bed
and prayed the family through.
Mother was God's special creation.
She was a light shining in the dark,
Illuminating the path for her family
and pointing them all toward God.
Missing you and love you always Mom,
Until we meet again.
