Obituary of Jeanne M. Schwartz

Schenectady- Jeanne M. Schwartz 78, of Schenectady, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2001 at Ellis Hospital after a long illness. Jeanne was born and raised in Saranac Lake, NY. She graduated from Saranac Lake High School and a graduate of Albany Medical Center School of Nursing in 1953. Jeanne was a Registered Nurse at St. Clare's Hospital for 27 years where she retired in 1993 as a Surgical Nurse. She was a long time member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Colonie. Jeanne is survived by her husband of 56 years, John "Jack" Schwartz Jr.; her children, Paul Schwartz (Anne) of Webster, NY, Ann Trolenberg of Guilderland, Janet Schwartz-Smith (Young Jr.) of Lexington, KY, Julie Adams (Kevin) of Charlton, NY, Marcia Walsh (Thomas) of Westfield, MA; 12 grandchildren, Katie and Thomas Schwartz, Erik (Rachael), Jennifer and Alex Trolenberg, Harper Smith, Kendra, Brooke and Madison Adams, Matthew, Scott and Lindsay Walsh; 1 great grandson, Tyler Trolenberg. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial service on Friday, May 20th at 2 PM at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St., (at McClellan St.), Schenectady. There will be no calling hours. Entombment will be private for family. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers, may be made in Jeanne's memory to St. Michael's Episcopal Church 49 Killean Park, Colonie, NY 12205.
