We are saddened to hear of Lisa's passing. She deserved to live to be 95 and pass away while reading a good novel and sipping a glass of wine while sitting next to Rich on a beach somewhere. I didn't grow up with Lisa, but we grew our children up together, which is almost as good. We wish you, Rich, and Chris, and Sara strength and happy memories during this very difficult time. So very sorry for your loss. As a childhood friend, Lisa was always fun to be around,usually with her great smile! And it was always great to hear from her over the years, despite our distance apart. Lisa was always my Irish sister! Neither one of us had a sister and because we shared an Irish heritage and both of us looked so Irish, we felt like sisters. Plus we were both librarians! We've known each other since grad school and then started having our families pretty soon after. So, we had a lot to share. The Holts and Di Maggios shared time at Cape Cod, sailing on Lake George and lots of family events. Because of our librarian careers, we both loved reading and shared many good books. She also was the only friend I had who made clothes shopping fun... she had great taste and just made the whole experience a positive event! So, Lisa, you leave a big hole in my life and I know this to be true of your many friends and wonderful family as well.

I was very sad to read of Lisa's passing. I remember her well as a little girl, looking up to her as one of the kids in a Neighborhood we all grew up in. I remember her as tall, pretty, happy and always smiling. I also remember that when my Dad passed Lisa came and babysat my new little Son and my Niece while we went to the Wake. She was such a great person, liked by all, and will be missed greatly by all. Tina Urzan

I hadn't seen Lisa since CCHS days but will always remember her as a very kind, decent, fun, and happy person. Usually she had a smile on her face and was such a nice person to be around. My condolences to all. God bless and keep her and help you all through this difficult time.
