Pattersonville- Deborah Naylor Kaufmann of Pattersonville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on her 51st birthday, October 18, 2008.
Born in Fitchburg, MA, daughter of Robert and Arlene Naylor, also survived by her husband of 30 years, Gregg B. Kaufmann; one daughter, Kristen Long and her husband Stanley; two sons, Ryan Kaufmann and Benjamin Kaufmann; one granddaughter, Savannah Long; one brother; Steven Naylor; one sister Rebecca Tuckey and her husband Timothy.
Debbie was a Registered Nurse working at Bellevue Women's Hospital for 25 years then working as school nurse at Schenectady High School for the past 4 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Schenectady where she was Short Term Missions Coordinator who accompanied teams to Ecuador, Mexico, Uganda and India. She was also a member of the NYS Nurses Association.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday at 1 PM at First Presbyterian Church of Schenectady with Rev. Michael R. Alford and Rev. Kenneth A. McHeard officiating. Calling hours will be Thursday evening from 7 PM to 9 PM at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St., (at McClellan St.), Schenectady for those who wish to call. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made in Deborah's memory to Missions of First Presbyterian Church, PO Box 6, Schenectady, NY 12301.
