Margaret Boucher Hebert of Schenectady NY died on May 2, 2016. Margaret was born in Fort Edward NY on Jan 3, 1916, daughter of Philippa Singleton Boucher and Edward O. Boucher. She graduated from Fort Edward High School and Mildred Elley Business School. Margaret married Lawrence Hebert on Nov 1, 1943. They moved to their family home in Schenectady in 1947, where she continued to live until recent years. Lawrence predeceased her in 1987. Margaret was a faithful parishioner of St John the Evangelist Church and a generous patron of many charities. She is survived by 5 children, Helen Buscher, Ann McCarthy, Mary Rand, William Hebert and Liesi Hebert, 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. After a small celebration in January, thirty of her relatives gathered just three weeks before her death to celebrate her 100th birthday. Margaret was able to enjoy both celebrations immensely. The Funeral Mass will be at 9:00 AM on Friday, May 6 at St. John the Evangelist Church. The interment will follow at St Joseph cemetery in Fort Edward, NY at 11:30 AM.
