I am just one of Dede's many friends.. Friends who were attracted to Dede because of her radiant smile, open heart and sincere concern for all people and animals. I first met Dede when I was working with her dad through the Visiting Nurses Association. The first time II heard her voice on the phone, I knew that I had to meet the person behind that uplifting and positive voice, Defe was a loving and devoted daughter who worked with her father on all the assignments and exercises that I recommended, I had n ever met such a devoted caregiver. Our friendship continued long after her dad was discharged from therapy. Dede was always a good friend ready to listen and find a way to brighten your day. I am thankful for those moments we spent sitting on her porch talking about life, family and The Lord. Heaven just called back one more angel. I will miss you, my friend. ..
