The pain of losing someone you love can be overwhelming; I too know that pain. As you cherish the fond memories that you hold dear, may you also find comfort as I have in knowing that our loving heavenly Father Jehovah promises us that very soon, all those in the 'memorial tombs' will hear the voice of his son Jesus and 'come out' by means of the resurrection. (John 5:28,29) What a wonderful day that will be!

Dear Walter so sorry we can not attend the memorial for Karen; we would have liked that very much. She was a remarkable person, and it was nice to read in the obituary how you two met mountain hiking in the "gjetost" district in Norway. Too bad that her last years were spent with the dreaded Alzheimer's decease, but maybe that is the price you have to pay for all the good years? You Walter, certainly has showed courage and commitment these last years, and has served as a wonderful example for us all. May Karen rest in peace she will always be in our thoughts. Charlotte & Alan: I was so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. She was a remarkable woman to work with and an amazing person to know. I will always have fond memories of office picnics at her house with all the children playing down at the pond. I will be out of town this weekend and sadly will not be able to attend the funeral.
