Jesus cares about parents and mourns with them when a child is lost. He cried when his friend Lazarus died. That is why he is near to the brokenhearted and saves the battered-down in spirit. I am so sorry for your double loss. My story is about adorable little Geraldine. I subbed in Mr. Avon's class and thououghly enjoyed your bubbly llittle girl. She was always so up, that I noticed she was a little off the first day after Christmas vacation. I asked her what was wrong and she said "Daddy woke me up in the middle of the night to get ready for school!" I guess after a week or so of sleeping in she was a little upset at getting up when it was still dark. She was a joy and she always looked so nice. You are wonderful parents. May God be with you.

Dear Albert and Marvin- My trips to Eastpointe as her monitor were ones that always made me smile and laugh because of your daughter-Geraldine!She was soo full of life and my sympathies are great for you both. Geradine was like Joan Rivers-her hair alwys done so nice, very fashionable, and she could make anyone laugh and smile the minute she spoke...definitely one of a kind in a wonderful way! I don't really have a story to tell I juat want to express my deepest sympathies for the Day family. I am so sorry for the loss of Geraldine and Corey. I can't even imagine having to burry not only one but two of my children. Although I did not know Geraldine like I did Corey, I am sure she gave off that same precious vibe and always had a smile on her face. Praying for your family and sending lots of love.

As I look back on all the days we spent together, I was suppose to be supporting you to be an independent young adult.
