Obituary of Avis D. Puchalski

Avis (White) Puchalski 84, formerly of Regent Street, passed away Friday April 19th. She was born , the last of 6 children, in Schenectady in 1928. Avis worked at GE before her marriage, then worked at Kem Cleaners for several years before retiring. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward and 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Avis is survived by her daughters, Ellen (Dan) Duma, Donna (Ken) Gaab, and Janice (Dave) Jahne. Also her grandsons, James, Chris, R. Ted (Katie) and Jeff (Mara). She has three great grandchildren, Madison, MaKenna and Cody. Avis enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed knitting and crotching many mementoes for them. She also enjoyed reading and watching her favorite shows on T V. She will be cremated and burial at Memory Gardens in Colonie. A memorial will be planned for later in the year.
