SCOTIA—John B. Hillers, 75, passed away peacefully on Friday morning March 14th at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
John was born in Potsdam, NY a son of the late Francis and Barbara Stilphen Hillers. He honorably served his country as a Military Policeman for the United States Army for two years. He worked as a warehouse manager for the McCrory Co. and the Newberry Company. John retired from the former Union Presbyterian Church where he proudly worked as their custodian.
John was a man with a big heart who loved friends, camping, dominos, the color orange and sharing good food and life in general.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Grace E. Hillers; loving children, Timothy Hillers, Wendy (Hillers) Fisher, Nicole Kelly (Mark) Dressel, Kathleen Kelly (Cameron) Hayduk; 9 adoring grandchildren; an older brother, Robert Hillers; he is also survived by several nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on May 10th at 11 AM at the First Reformed Church of Scotia, 224 N. Ballston Ave., Scotia.
