Being able to know Don was a wonderful experience. He was a wonderful man with a supportive family and spouse. Once in awhile in my line of work I meet a couple who I would aspire to be like and Don and Jay certainly fall into this category. I can rest assured knowing his wife did everything possible to make sure he was comfortable and that in the end, he did it his way. Bless you all, and much love. Marcy-

Dear Jay, Matt and Family Just heard the news of Don's passing. We are in Georgia. Wish we could have been there through calling hours and funeral service to celebrate his life. Such a great Man. Dennis goes back to the Skiing days with such fond memories. Still has a couple of Jay's hats. Such a good man to deal with in taking care of our Insurance for many years. Dear Jay, Alec & Matthew, It was with sadness that I read of Don's passing in the Lake Placid News. It's been a long time since ski racing days though it was nice to meet you occasionally here in LP. Dear Jay and Family, So many fond memories from the North Creek Ski Bowl. Don was my inspiration. I worked under him as a junior instructor and was taught ski skills that were never forgotten. To this day, I'm still an avid skiier and today, took a run in his honor. I am so sorry for your loss.
