My Uncle John, Jack's father gave mu mother and me a copy of one of Jack's first lectures to a corporation. "When the Interest Comes Due" I never knew anyone whose career took off so fast and went so far as Jack's. I believe I still have that copy in my archives. Hope so.

There was not a finer man than Jack Prendergast. In my mind, he is the very definition of an honorable man: brilliant, kind, witty, compassionate, and filled with integrity, reverence, and love of God, country, and his fellow human beings. I remember when my mother (his first cousin, Bernadette Prendergast) and I were going to Ireland for the first time. Jack took the time and made the effort to send us a guide to Ireland and he included a 6-page, hand-written letter describing all of the places we just had to visit. He was just a great man and I am so proud and grateful to have been related to him. My heartfelt condolences to his family.
