Jim, it has been almost a year since you passed. In some ways it seems like a long time ago and at times seems just yesterday. Sad for us our oldest brother Tom is with you now. He has been sick for a long time and I am glad he can be in peace with you now. I can picture you and Tom and Paul sitting around a big camp fire with mom and dad and the rest of the family and friends talking about us and your adventures. We do the same here when we can with Mary, Brian, Liz, and Kathi with our families and friends just like we did when you were with us. I can still feel you to be with us at those campfires. Brother, remember us because we think of you all often. Gerry

I wanted to say this at the wake but I could not. I am glad to have the opportunity to say this here.
If you knew Jim you know that he loved to have his camp fires so he could share time with friends and family.
My brother Jim and I were both volunteer fireman for the Latham Fire Department when we were young. A plectron (spelling?) is a device firemen had in their homes back then that LOUDLY announced a fire call and firemen left their homes to respond to the call. When the plectron alerted we scrambled to get dressed and I remember my mother flat against the wall to get out of the way as we ran past to get into the car and drive to the firehouse. That is probably typical for many households with family members that were firemen. If we were both home at the time of a call we jumped in one car together and sped off to the firehouse. One day I was not as fast as Jim getting my shoes on and he made it to the front door about ten steps ahead of me. Did he wait two seconds for me? No, as I got to the front door he was already backing out the driveway and despite my yelling for him to stop he just kept driving.
The moral to this story: Never be late to the fire or Jim will leave you behind and go on without you.
He has left me behind again but I will get there eventually and we will be together again.

Jim, I am sad and happy. I am sad you are gone and I cannot spend time with you. I cannot ask you how to do some things. I cannot ask your advice. We cannot work on projects together. You were my baby brother and for that I will be eternally grateful. Your life was cut too short. You never got to have much of a retirement where we could do things together. I was very much looking forward to visiting with you at the camp in the summers and your coming to Florida to avoid that dreadful NY winter weather. I am also happy for you. You passed peacefully in your sleep as I had hoped for you. While you lived life to the fullest, even for the past year or so, I am glad for you that your struggle is over and you can be at peace. You are not leaving behind a family because we will be with them for you. They will feel you through us and we will feel you through them. We will share you together in our thoughts and in our actions. You are now with our parents and relatives and friends. Tell them all how much we miss them but remember that we will be together again. We were not always together but we were always a close family. Watch over us and all of your family. You will be missed and you will always be in our hearts and thoughts. Goodbye my brother.

To the Frawley Clan: I am so sorry to hear about Jim. I haven't seen most of you in a while, but that great, big grin on Jim's face is how I always remember him! I am unable to make any of the services, but know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all........ Your cousin, Mike

I am saddened to hear of Jim's passing. We knew the day was coming yet hearing the news broke my heart. Jim was a very special man and I am so blessed to have been part of his Brant Lake family. I will always cherish the wonderful memories at the beach. Jim will be missed, but knowing he is no longer suffering will help to comfort Love Margie

During this difficult time I would like to extend my most heartfelt sympathies. I very much enjoyed working with Jim at NEC Energy Solutions from the time he walked into New Hire Orientation and cracked jokes to working through his leave of absence. He was a true gentlemen first and foremost. He made a positive impact on everyone he came in contact with. I was honored to have known him. Many blessings to you all.
