Dear Susie and Mark, So many memories! Your mom was such an active and involved mother, church member, community builder, crafter, and friend to so many. I've really missed her since she left the area. My prayers are with you in your loss. Hold your many memories of both your mom and dad close. They were both very special people.

Dear Mark and Susan, As I trimmed our tree this week I was reminded of your Mom when I went to hang the little stuffed bear ornament she made for our son Danny. He died in 1974 and I have hung it on our tree ever since ,in his memory. Therefore I was surprised to read of your Mom's passing. She was such a lovely lady and a good friend to all who knew her. She will always be remembered by me when I hang Danny's bear every Christmas. My deepest sympathy to you and your family Ann Hodgman Vergennes/Addison, VT

Our family sends our love to you all. Jean was a wonderful, wonderful woman. I can still hear her bright laughter. I think of her every year our Christmas tree goes up. Her ornaments and tree skirt she gave us for our wedding are treasured pieces. I think of the fun times I had with Susie at the house in Vergennes, warming up by the fire after a snowball fight eating chocolate chip cookies. I have a great photo of Jean and my mom as they were running a sports program at the Vergennes Elementary school. There was nothing those ladies couldn't do! Love to you all. I know your faith will help you through this difficult time.
