Obituary of Paul J. Landolfo

Paul J Landolfo of Schenectady passed away December 4th after a short illness. Paul was born in New York City but resided most of his life in Schenectady. He spent many years coaching Little League, Pop Warner Football and High School Basketball. His Granddaughters along with basketball were some of his true passions in life. He ended his coaching career last year with his 15 year old Granddaughter's Lady Saints AAU Basketball Team. He was extremely proud to have had the opportunity to coach those kids.
Paul was an avid Yankee fan. He attended Spring Training for many years. He made many lifelong friends from players to personnel with his Yankee Association. You could find Paul on any given morning at a local Stewarts. He would have been drinking his coffee, eating a Danish and harassing the staff.
Paul had a long career in the packaging industry and loved worked with his customers. Even during his recent illness he stayed a "True Salesman."
Paul is survived by his wife of 48 years Catherine Landolfo, his son Gregory P Landolfo, Granddaughters Erika Landolfo, Olivia Landolfo, Alayna Landolfo & Brooklyn Landolfo. Also 2 sisters Joan Arakelian and Barbara Crosier.
Calling hours are Sunday December 8th from 6 pm to 8pm at Jones Funeral Home 1503 Union St., (at McClellan St.),in Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial on Monday at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church. Entombment with Military honor will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, Colonie, NY.
