Dear Larry,Donald, Shirley and other family members, I met your Mom at the Glen Eddy, her apt. was across from my office and we would chat daily and she would attend many programs, I enjoyed my work just spending time with Lillian and she always had time for me and sent me notes and I would try to give her something in return, she loved the flowers and her books. My sincere prayers and thoughts and I will never forget her kindness to me and all those she meet. I could not make the service, due to sickness at this tiime. I am glad to have met you a few years ago and she loved her family and friends. take care, Rosemary Reynolds

Late one sticky summer night there was a little knock on the front door. I raced out in my jammies expecting one of my son's had forgotten their keys to find Lillian with a flashlight. "I'm sorry to bother you Karen but it seems there is a bat in the house and it won't leave." Together we captured it in the fishing net and she insisted we let him fly off into the night versus smacking him senseless like my boys wanted to do. She was the loveliest and kindest neighbor. She taught my youngest son, Cale, about star gazing. She had me listen with her to the different bird calls in the back yard. And she refused to allow me to trim that rose bush which had taken over the garden. I loved her dearly even though the distance between our lives had changed. The Lord is good, he will welcome her with love.

Dear Shirley, Larry and Don, I was so very sorry to learn about your mother's passing. I have so many fond memories of her as my Girl Scout leader so many years ago and her endless patience with me! I remember her teaching me the "proper" way to go bird watching without scaring them all away. Many of my favorite childhood memories included times spent with Mrs. Peterson at the helm! In more recent years, it was always a pleasure to chat with her on several occasions at the Niskayuna Post Office. I hope that your memories of your mother will be a blessing to you all and bring you peace. With very best wishes, Barbara Chapman Dworkin

We were very fond of Mrs. Peterson, she will certainly be missed. We have many happy memories of her and "the lake" just isn't the same without her. She will not be forgotten. May God bless her and keep her.
