Obituary of Marian Elizabeth Senn

SCHENECTADY—Marion Elizabeth Senn, "Betty", 94, of Kingsway Nursing Center, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 29th, after a long illness. She was born on May 8, 1920, the daughter of the late Frank and Grace Bagnall. Betty was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School, attended Syracuse University and was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She worked 7 years for the General Electric Company in Schenectady and spent many years as a homemaker. She was formerly active in the Panhellanic Association of Schenectady, the Auxiliary of Sunnyview Hospital, a Haven volunteer and a former member of the Mohawk Golf Club. She formerly served on the executive board of the Capital District Christian Woman's Club and with Stonecroft Ministries. She attended Lisha Kill Reformed Church. She was predeceased by her son, Douglass Senn. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Robert Senn; daughter-in-law, Christine Senn; and two grandchildren, Will and Ted Adamczak. She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed spending time at their family camp on Galway Lake. The funeral will be private at the convenience of the family.
