Dear George and Deb. I wanted to add that my wife, Fran, reminded me of something I had forgotten. Your Mother and her Sister Jessie brought back from Italy two beautiful purses for Fran. Such a nice example of her generosity and thoughtfulness. Fran still uses one of the purses often. She said the other one is too beautiful to use where she goes. We are mostly homebodies. On another note, I thought the Mass was so beautiful; all the readings and remembrances so well done. The poem was remarkable and funny. The music was nice and I enjoyed singing the two songs. Thank you for the invitation to the house; unfortunately I had other plans. Mel and Fran Simon
