Dear Corinne and Larry, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your Father. He was such a gentleman, so wise and humorous. I so enjoyed our correspondence over the years and visiting with him during my occasional trips to Schenectady. He was always talking about you both and your loving families. He was happily overwhelmed by your love and many visits. I will miss him with all his stories and views on life. He was indeed one of our best. I send you my sympathies and those of my family. We will miss Great Uncle Caleb's cheerful notes which he so thoughtfully wrote, always on lovely stationery decorated with birds. We, sadly, never met him in person but felt a nice connection over the years through correspondence. Uncle Caleb generously shared his name with us when we named our son Caleb (who is now 12). Shortly after our Caleb's birth we received a card in which Uncle Caleb wrote, "I think it's nice to pass family names along through the generations, and am honored to have your son carrying on for 'the Calebs'. As far as I know, he is number four...I think I was named for Caleb M. Paine, and that he was my great uncle."

Larry, Corinne and family, Our thoughts and prayers from Kingsway Home Care are with you. Caleb was a special man to us all. He was always so polite and greatful for the help he received. His aides all just loved being assigned to him. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be a small part of his life.
