Carl "Bucky" Maiello Jr. 53, of Schenectady passed away on Monday May 15, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Niskayuna, a son to the late Carl " Carmine" Sr. and Martha Cook Maiello, Bucky graduated from Linton High School. He worked 28 years for the Schenectady County Maintenance Depart. He was an avid sports fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Boston Red Sox. His passions were his 2 Monte Carlos and his family. Bucky is survived by his loving sister Cindy (Bob) Wade; uncle of Brenda (Joseph) Alberino, Diane (Robert) Moore, Robert (Megan) Wade, Carly Wade (Matthew Howard Jr.); 11 grand nieces and nephews. Also survived by several cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial on Friday May 19th at 9 AM at St. Paul the Apostile Church , Albany St., Schenectady. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5 PM to 7 PM at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St., ( at McClellan St.), Schenectady. Burial will follow the Mass in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Schenectady, next to his mother. Memorial donations in Bucky's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
