Obituary of Mary B. Dearing

Niskayuna- Mary Brennan Dearing 87, of Niskayuna, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Troy, NY, daughter of the late James B. and Mae Butcher Brennan, she graduated from Catholic Central High School, Troy Conservatory of Music, Russell Sage College ( B.S.) and Oberlin College ( M. S.). Mary was a Chemist at KAPL for 7 years prior to her marriage. She married Burton E. Dearing, October 17, 1953, he predeceased her on January 1, 2010. Mary was a communicant of St. Helen's Church in Niskayuna. Mary is survived by her children; Brian E. Dearing (Cindy) of Mequon, WI, Paul B. Dearing of Schenectady and Sara P. Dearing (Michael Rudko) of Schenectady; six grandchildren; Andrew, Rachel, Jessica, Samuel, Matthew and Julieanne; her brother Walter J. Brennan of Paris, France; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers, James B. and Edward W. Brennan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian burial on Thursday, April 26th at 9 AM at St. Helen's Church. There will be no calling hours. Burial will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Memorial contributions in Mary's memory may be made to St, Helen's Church, 1803 Union St., Niskayuna, NY 12309 or to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union St., Schenectady, NY 12308.
