Obituary of Ann Marie Dadd

Ann Marie Dadd age 84 of Schenectady passed away on November 24th 2016 while visiting her son in Holly Springs, NC. She was born on July 26th 1932 in Schenectady, grew up in the Goose Hill area and graduated from Nott Terrace High School in 1950. Ann worked for New York State in Albany and at the GE Research Lab in Niskayuna. She married Charles W. Dadd in 1960 and moved to Pittsfield, MA returning to Schenectady to raise her family. Ann and Charles were married for 56 years. She is survived by her husband Charles W. Dadd, her children Charles D. Dadd and wife Cheryl, Christopher A. Dadd and wife Karen, Marybeth Dadd and husband Robert Sroufe, her five grandchildren Linda and Heather Dadd, Charlotte Dadd, Alexandra and Isabella Sroufe and her sisters Delores Mannato and Camille Ranze. Ann is predeceased by her parents Pasquale and Angelina Coratti. Ann's wish to be cremated has been honored. Visiting hours will be held on December 6th, 2016 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union St., ( at McClellan St.), Schenectady. A funeral Mass will be held on December 7th, 2016 at 11am at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2777 Albany Street, Schenectady. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, (800) 822-6344.
