We lived across the street from the Powells in Orchard Park from 1962 until 1965. Beth and I were classmates at the Craig School and Van Antwerp Junior High. Mrs. Powell always made me feel welcome in her home. She told me once she loved to drink hot coffee but never liked the taste of coffee ice cream. Funny the things you remember.

Dear Nancy and Family: Very sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I didn't know her, so to speak, but we both worked at Hannaford. I grew to like you through work, and then I would get to see you when you would come into the store with "OUR" little grandson, I got to see him and looked forward to seeing him when you came in Your husband and daughters are just like you. What a nice family.

I was privileged to have seen Mom several to,ea when she was visiting Tracy and Tony. What a lady! She was warm, smart, funny ... And when I think of her, I smile. We had a lot of laughs over the years. She will be missed. Xoxox
