First grade 1957, St. Catherine of Siena a lifelong friendship began. Through grade school, neighborhood pick-up games, hide and seek in the summers, shoveling snow,A&P vs Bohack, Manhattan, 30 Rock for attending game shows, live for free onto High School,Franklin General Hospital the dishroom, the HOT coffee even the Navy Reserve Jack was by my side or close by. He helped make me who I am today, I miss him, cry for him and mostly I am blessed and proud to have had him for a true friend since at least 1957, God guide you in Paradise Jackie, Michael Porzio

To the family of John,
He was a rock! I remember when he helped me get through some of the worst of days back in 2002. Working with him many years later at WMY, allowed me to see how truly dedicated he was to those of us in need of loving kindness. And that he gave in abundance. John will be missed.

John was my co-worker at sparc guilderland and SPH detox.John was a wonderful Nurse he treated the patients with kindness and good professional care. My hushand, fiore enjoyed talking with John about navy days. Ann ,John loved you and the children with his whole heart. you are in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time

To Ann and Family my prayers are sent to you in this hard time. I came to know John whom I always called Mr. Cunningham through his wonderful wife Ann. I had many visits and interactions with him at his home on holidays and just visits. He was a wonderful, caring and loving man he will be greatly missed.
