Dear Sandy's family, News of Sandy's passing has only now (Dec 9th)reached me and I am terribly saddened. We were friends in our high school years and for me it was one of the highlights of our 50th reunion in 2007 to see Sandy again and to feel her happy energy and our instant re-connection. It was such a joy and I'm grateful for it. Reading the description of her life, it's no surprise that she gave so much and was so much loved. Heartfelt condolences. Jim Staley.

Bob, My deepest & heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. Sandy's smile and kindness made the world a better place. Dear Bob, Beth and Steve, Miss Sandy already! She and I would have some- time during annual conference to go off in a corner and kibbutz and catch up with how things were going. She was always positive and her grand smile never ceased! She would fill me in on you Steve and Beth so now I could loose track of you. Hope not! I have memories of Sandy clear back to Riverside and even though I was a little girl at the time she always treated me like I mattered - most at that time treated children as if they were invisible, but not yourmom and wife Sandy! Bob, Beth, and Stephen, Sandy was always ready with a smile, a hug, a stern look when I needed one. She always knew just which one I needed.
