Didn’t see this in a timely manner, but was thinking about Nick and my waitressing job the restaurant one summer in the 60’s., and was inspired to search.
Can’t forget the corn beef sandwiches and his kindness to all. A man of substance. His boys were young then, and I see they have families of their own now, and I’m hoping his grandchildren had the opportunity to know him and benefit from cooking lessons as well.
RIP, Nick.
