I had Mrs. Mills as an art teacher in the 1970s. She was a fantastic teacher who taught me how to love creativity, and in particular, pottery in which she taught me how to use a pottery wheel. She always made you feel that you could be artistic even if you weren't necessarily that artististic!

Ginny and Drew Mills lived in the house next to ours during their time in Waterloo. Ginny sketched portraits of me and my two sisters which still hang on my parents' (Albert and Yolanda Pace) wall on Church Street. One of her "practice" portraits of me also hangs in my own home. You are in my thoughts and prayers today.
