Lorraine was the best hostess and adopted me alongside Beth and Pete for Xmas holidays and many other trips to Schenectady. She loved her garden and we had many fun times during spring planting. I have fond memories of these times in upstate New York for the golf, the laughs, the BBQ's and a few beers thrown in. Thanks for the memories Lorraine. Beth - my condolences and I would love to hear from you.

I first met Lorraine when I was 3 years old. She was 4 at the time - always older and wiser! It is a sad day for me that she is gone. Heather and Beth, my love is with you as you send this great lady and good friend off on the next leg of her journey. Sorry not to be there in person for the occasion but I'll be with you in spirit. Those of us who worked in the Department of Health with Lorraine will remember her sense of humor as much as her professionalism. She had a way of connecting easily with the many varied audiences she conducted training programs for. She put people at ease and was immensely liked by her co-workers. Even on a hectic day she could be depended on for a kind word or a laugh. Her thoughtfulness was legendary as well as her regard for her family and friends.

Heather and Beth, you mom was the greatest friend and neighbor my mother could have ever had, and she will be terribly missed by all of us. Her memory will live on in our hearts.
