Obituary of Ralph J. Paccico

Schenectady- Ralph Paccico, son of the late Jennie (Damiano) and Alfonso Paccico, went to his eternal rest on May 2, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Paccico was a 1955 graduate of the former Draper High School, and Ward's IBM School.He was employed by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation for thirty-six years. Ralph also volunteered at the Schenectady County Inner City Ministry Food Pantry for the past fifteen years. He is survived by his wife of fifty years Marlene (Mastro), his beloved son, Lawrence,and wonderful daughter-in-law, Nara, and two cherished granddaughters, Jillian Mary and Cailyn Rose. Heartfelt gratitude to his doctors who treated Ralph and his family with care and compassion during the last few months of Ralph's life: Cindy Chan, M.D., Shaheen Rahman, M.D.,and Thomas Schumacher, D.O. Ralph was greatly comforted by their empathy and concern. Calling hours are at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union Street, Schenectady on Wednesday morning,May 5th from 8:30AM to 11 AM , with a short service held at 11 AM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, 12308, or to a charity of choice.
