Dear Zentmire Family, It is with sorrow that we learned of Dick's death. He and his wife were pillars of Union Presbyterian Church. We were members of UPC for approximately 35 years. We are blest to have known Dick and are thankful for his contributions not only to Union Presbyterian Church but to mankind. We will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time following Dick's death. In His Name, Jerry and Carolyn Crawmer

To the Zentmire Family, Our neighborhood has lost a good man....A helpful neighbor. We often found our trash cans brought in for us. One who cleaned the neighborhood, picking up trash with a plastic bag keeping our alley clean. He shovelled neighbor's sidewalks, all done in his typicall quiet manner. he let our kids play basketball in his driveway which ruffled up the bottompanel of his garage without complaining. My kids said he felt like a grandfather to them. He will be sorely missed. Sincerely, Ruth Bruno TolgeWSDSK

My memories of Dick Zentmire are from the perspective of a young boy, who every Sunday morning of his young life would look across the pews of Union Presbyterian Church, and see Dick, Fran, and the entire Zentmire family. I remember Dick as a man of few words, while Fran was the outgoing one with a laugh that you couldn't forget. Those were wonderful times when life seemed simple and secure ... at least when contrasted with our world today.
