Rosemary (Mackiewicz) LaFreniere
On August 14, 2023, Rosemary was reunited with her husband, Henry (Hank). Beloved mother of 6 children; Henry Jr., Roger, Alan (Patty), Richard (Marion), Lynn Goliber, Michael (Karen). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
She was also pre-deceased by her brothers, Walter, Martin and Joe Mackiewicz and sisters, Lottie Czub, Madeline Mackiewicz, Julia Ellrott, Marion Pone and Dolly Poirier.
Rosemary retired at the age of 82 years old after a long career at Knolls Atomic Power Lab (KAPL) for General Electric and subsequently Bechtel. She loved her work there.
Her strongest commitment and dedication was to her family. “The kids” were her heart and soul.
Calling hours will be held from 9:00am to 10:00am Monday, August 28 prior to a service at 10:00am at Jones Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave, Colonie. Burial will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Glenville.
