I had the pleasure of becoming acquainted with "Sir" when Dr. J began writing her book "Delivery with Grace" in 2019.
We shared some delightful lunches at Coburg Village. I once asked him about always wearing a tie. He said "I would feel improperly dressed without one". I enjoyed his sense of humor and the life advice he gave me. It was nice to see the genuine affection they shared after the loss of both of their spouses.
Walter was a lovely and gracious man.
My sincere condolences to you all for his loss.

My fondest memory of Walter is his wit & story telling ability. At one recent, pre-Covid event at Coburg Village, Walter arrived without his script. Unperturbed, if a bit flummoxed, he proceeded to ad lib, & he öulled it off! Maybe it was his Manchester accent, or his boyish charm! He will be missed! My deepest condolences!
