My Dear Brother,
I suppose there is not enough words to say what I feel. I will always remember the little boy who followed me around when we lived in the state of Washington. The boy I climbed trees with. The little boy who caught tadpoles in a pail and who rode behind me hanging on for dear life as I galloped my pony up and down hills at the farm in Hartford New York. I wont forget the little guy that sat by me in a clunker truck as we traveled with our Dad cross country to the east, the truck only had one gear! The adventures we had with our parents back then forever shaped us, Our father, an artist and a dreamer. A cowboy and a farmer. Restless, always restless. and you were too. Our mother, brilliant and driven. Who could forget you at four years old giving your mother baby garter snakes on Mothers day? You could hear her screaming for miles! I wont forget the little boy who say by me on the bus on his first day of school...holding my hand, afraid to let go. When my husband passed you called me and comforted me, words, but the right words, heartfelt and soothing. When I thought I couldnt make it through the night, you comforted me. I still see you as that little boy,,,,,silly isnt it?
There is a place where we will all meet again, you are there with our mother, and two of your brothers. I envy you as you are with my Mike also. A beautiful place where Gods love is a heavenly light that knows all and is merciful. You accepted him as a child and he doesnt forget.
You will forever be in our heart. A safe place. You will be in our thoughts, always.
