We purchased the house at the corner of Lexington Avenue and Plum Street from Mary and Bunny when they sold it and moved to Charlton. The always gracious Mary told me at the time how pleased she was to see a young family moving in (we had a 3 year old son, a baby daughter, and were expecting a third child at the time). She said that they had raised their family in that house, and she hoped we would have as happy a time there as it had been for them. It was. We were in that house long enough to raise all three kids and have our youngest daughter and her husband buy the Farry's house across and slightly down the street after the death of George Farry. We sold the house 36 years after we bought it to another young couple just starting out with a toddler and another baby on the way, beginning yet another cycle for that wonderful family home where I could sit on the screened porch and watch for the kids coming home from Howe school. Great memories. Deepest condolences to all the family on the loss of your lovely mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
